Kraichgau-Stromberg-Tourismus e.V.

Welcome to Kraichgau-Stromberg!

Kraichgau-Stromberg offers scenic beauty, lots of things to see and is ideal for relaxing. The gentle hilly landscape of Kraichgau is embedded in deciduous forests, meadows and vines, while the Stromberg-Heuchelberg natural preserve is decorated with its unique forest and wine-growing landscape.

The 52 cities and communities, which are merged together into Kraichgau-Stromberg Tourismus e. V., are located in the districts of Karlsruhe, Enz, Heilbronn, Ludwigsburg and Rhein-Neckar. The western part of Kraichgau borders onto Alsace and is situated in the PAMINA region, which is being touristically developed by the cross-state tourist association, Touristikgemeinschaft Baden-Elsaß-Pfalz.

The former state borders of Baden and Württemberg run through the centre of the region.

Through the Kraichgau-Stromberg wine route, which was developed in 1995, which connects the two winegrowing regions (Württemberg=A; Baden=B) with one another, a further brace was fixed to connect these two districts, which were once independent.

In addition, the following tourist routes lead through the region of Kraichgau-Stromberg: the Badische Spargelstraße (Baden's asparagus route - the responsible body for which is the Förderkreis Spargelbau in Reilingen), the Schwäbische Dichterstraße (Swabian poets' route), the Deutsche Fachwerkstraße (German half-timbered houses route) and the Schwäbische Weinstraße (Swabian wine route).
